Although the reducer has a venting cap, the venting hole is too small, it is easy to be blocked by pulverized coal and oil, and the inspection hole cover should be opened every time the oil is refilled. Once opened, the possibility of oil leakage is increased once, so that it does not leak. There was also a leak in the place. To this end, an oil cup type venting cap was made, and the original thin inspection hole cover was changed to 6 mm thick, and the oil cup type venting cap was welded to the cover plate, and the vent hole diameter was 6 mm, which was convenient for ventilation. The pressure is achieved, and the oil is added from the oil cup when refueling, and the inspection hole cover is not opened, thereby reducing the chance of oil leakage.

2. Smooth flow: To make the excess lubricant of the gears on the bearing not accumulate in the shaft seal, the excess oil must flow back to the oil pool in a certain direction, that is, to achieve a smooth flow. The specific method is to open a oil return groove inclined to the inside of the lower part of the bearing seat, and also open a notch at the straight end of the end cover, the notch is directly opposite the oil groove, so that excess lubricating oil flows through the notch and the oil return groove. Return to the oil pool.

3. Improve the shaft seal structure

1) The shaft seal of the reducer whose output shaft is half shaft is improved: the output shaft of the reducer of most equipments such as belt conveyor, screw unloader and impeller coal feeder is half shaft, which is more convenient to transform. Disassemble the reducer, remove the coupling, take out the shaft seal end cover of the reducer, and install the frame oil seal on the outer side of the original end cover according to the size of the matching skeleton oil seal. The side with the spring is turned inward. When reloading, if the end cap is more than 35 mm from the inner end surface of the coupling, a spare oil seal can be installed on the shaft outside the end cap. Once the oil seal fails, the damaged oil seal can be taken out and the spare oil seal can be pushed into the end cover. Eliminate the time-consuming and laborious process of understanding the body reducer and dismantling the shaft.

5. Carefully carry out the overhaul process: When the reducer is overhauled, the process specification should be carefully implemented. The oil seal should not be reversed, the lip should not be damaged, the outer edge should not be deformed, the spring should not fall off, the joint surface should be cleaned, the sealant should be evenly applied, and refueling. The amount must not exceed the oil scale.

6. Wiping: The static sealing point of the reducer can pass through the treatment. Generally, it can reach the non-leakage, but the dynamic sealing point is still due to the aging of the seal, poor quality, improper assembly, high surface roughness of the shaft, etc. There is a slight leakage. Due to the poor working environment, the coal dust sticks to the shaft and appears to be oily. Therefore, it is necessary to wipe the oil on the shaft after the equipment stops running.
